These terms describe use of Scholarity and its paid plans. Read them with our Privacy policy. If you have questions, contact us before creating an account or purchasing a plan.
Your account and material
Provide accurate account information, protect your sign-in details and use only material you own or have permission to submit. You retain your rights in your material. You permit Scholarity and its service providers to process it as needed to generate, store and deliver your study activities. Do not upload unauthorized personal information, infringe others’ rights, interfere with the service or bypass account and usage restrictions. Use Scholarity in accordance with your institution’s academic integrity rules.
AI output and samples
Check AI-generated material against your source. Output can be inaccurate or incomplete and is for study support, not professional advice or a guarantee of grades or learning outcomes. Extraction, supported page access and transcript availability can vary. Curated samples illustrate the product; they are not live AI responses and do not consume your creation allowance unless you save a sample copy.
Free, guest and paid access
Free accounts include 2 lifetime Study Sets with personal practice and saved progress. Guest access includes one generated Study Set overview stored in that browser. An account is required for personal practice and saved progress. Clearing browser data removes a guest set.
Paid plans provide the monthly allowances and features displayed when you select a plan. AI Tutor requires Plus or Pro. Creating a new Study Set or saving a sample copy counts once; editing it does not. Deleting a set does not restore the allowance. A submitted AI Tutor question counts as one request, including a request that fails after processing starts. Review your current plan and usage in the app.
Subscriptions and payment
Paid subscriptions renew monthly until cancelled. Prices are shown in Canadian dollars; applicable tax is calculated at checkout. Review the plan, recurring price, tax and billing terms shown in Stripe checkout before confirming payment. Selecting a plan or registering an account alone does not authorize a payment. Stripe processes payments and billing management.
Cancellation and refunds
Open Settings → Manage billing to manage or cancel your subscription in Stripe’s portal. Review the cancellation effective date and any plan-change charges shown there. If you cannot access billing management, contact admin@scholarity.ca for help. Cancellation does not automatically refund prior charges or delete your saved sets. Contact support about incorrect charges or refund requests; applicable consumer rights remain unaffected.
When paid access ends, your account returns to Free: Free creation limits apply and AI Tutor requires Plus or Pro. Existing sets are retained unless you delete them. Account deletion is separate from subscription management; review or cancel your subscription before deleting your account.
Availability and changes
We may maintain or change the service and may restrict misuse or access that threatens security. We do not guarantee uninterrupted availability. Material changes to plans or these terms will be communicated as appropriate before they apply; review the current checkout terms for a new purchase. Nothing in these terms removes rights or remedies that applicable law does not allow us to exclude.
